China's apple production to drop

China's apple production for 2005/2006 is expected to fall by around 10 percent to 21.3 million tonnes.
Despite the drop in production demand for concentrated apple juice is up, so there may be a shortage of apples for juice.
Fresh apple exports are also expected to be up by around 15 percent to 990,000 tonnes.
