Salon Agrem
The Agrem exhibition intended for the food-processing industry has taken place in Vittoria (South of Sicily), from May 20th to 23rd.
Secondary Industries as seeds and agricultural machines were presented.
Some cooperatives as Rinascita displayed their products.
Outside the exhibition took place congresses:
- Production of melons, strawberries and tomatoes in the Mediterranean Basin;
- Horticultural production of quality in Sicily;
- Choice and financing of machines and farm implements;
- Renewable energies in the sectors.
We can note also that AGREM sees the participation of AREFLH (association of producing regions of fruits and vegetables in Europe).
28 regions were represented that is 40 % of the European global production.
