The Middle East is the new target of Philippine fruits

Exports from the Philippines to the Middle East have made great progress in recent years.

The DTI (Department of Trade and Industry ) revealed that demand from the Middle East countries has increased for several years. Philippines products are now available in several retail chains in the Middle East but development opportunities are significant .

To support and enhance the expected development, the commercial Philippine delegation recently traveled to Kuwait , Saudi Arabia , Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates . Demand in the Middle East in Philippines products recorded an annual growth rate of 10.53 % over the last 6 years , with a value of more than USD 0.4 million in November 2015 .
