Vietnam currently ships pineapples to more than 100 international markets.
Vietnam’s pineapple exports soared by more than 400% in August 2025 compared with the same month in 2024, according to the General Department of Vietnam Customs. The surge lifted total export earnings for the first eight months to US $8 million, up 114% compared with the same period in 2024.
Vietnam now exports pineapples to over 100 markets, with the European Union accounting for nearly half of the total export value and the United States taking about 20%. The increase reflects rising global demand and improved processing capacity among Vietnamese producers.
Industry officials noted that pineapple has become one of Vietnam’s most promising fruit exports, supported by expanded cultivation areas, better post-harvest handling, and growing competitiveness in international markets.
