Hard hail showers have damaged apple trees in Ukraine

According to the latest data hard hail showers have damaged apple trees (summer varieties of apples) in central part of Ukraine this week.

Hail was cherry size which led to hard damage of roofs of local houses. Bad weather conditions have defected summer varieties of apple trees. Most of fruits have fallen down to the ground, others were heavily bruised. Most of these fruits will be sold to processing factories. At this time apples producers from Southern parts of Ukraine plan to start picking up rareripe apples. This way there won’t be much competition on fruit market for apples grown in Southern Ukraine.
