New Building for Duda Farm Fresh Food
United States
Wednesday 09 April 2008
The US company Duda Farm Fresh Food has built a new facility in Oxnard, which will enable it to double its fresh-cut celery operation.
Since March 24, the company - one the world’s largest celery growers, shippers and marketers - performs its administrative and production activities in the new 65,746-square-foot building.
According to Greg Tirado, Plant Manager, "There's no substitute for space and when you have the space to do what you do, it makes a difference in the quality of the product that you produce."
The firm decided to build a new facility because of customer demand. Food safety will be a priority there and strict controls will be performed regularly.
Duda Farm Fresh Food, which employs 85 people, operates in many US states, such as Florida, Texas, California, Arizona, Georgia and Michigan.
