A new way to boost fruit & veg consumption

French deputies have voted a new law to enable French consummers to buy fruit and veg with their "ticket-restaurant": a paper check offered by some companies to their employees and untill now reserved for restaurants payment.

Today 2.7 million employees are receiving those "ticket restaurants".

Valérie Boyer, the deputy who brings this amendment to vote declares:

 "they will now be able to use them to buy fruit & veg in retail shops, this will help them to consume 5 fruit & veg a day."

 Mrs Boyer reminds that Butchers, Breadmakers, and snacks already accept this payment.

 This decision must still be accepted by the Senate.
