It appears that apples can be not only splendid and delicious raw material used to make preserves but also to production of paper.
Such an original idea came into mind of Italian entrepreneur from the Upper Adige - Alberto Volcan. Creator of this technology explained to Italian media that the reason why he started with this new enterprise is a high content of cellulose in apples' debris which are left after processing them in juice.
Authorities of the Upper Adige ( anyway one of the greatest apple centres in Europe) decided to support Volcan's activity which can make famous fruits from this region of Italy and contribite to deeper knowledge of ecology among consumers.
Volcan produced 60,000 envelopes, 7,000 notebooks and 6,000 bags from apple's paper. These articles will be placed mostly in local offices.
