Britons invited to celebrate the Potato

At the initiative of the Potato Council, the organization of producers of potatoes, the " Potato Week 2014", will be held from October 6 to 12.

The purpose of this week is to encourage the public to consume potatoes. Starting with helping consumers to better select varieties of potatoes, depending on how they are going to cook but also to help them discover the different flavors and different textures.

The program for this week: the presentation of new revenue -selling author and food stylist Jo Pratt ; special operations in retail sales; messages on all packages ; campaign online and on social networks . These varied activities enable the sector as a whole to participate in the Potato Week in order to obtain a maximum impact.
