Larges expansion plans for Asda, which will create of 25 new stores, three depots, and refurbish 43 existing stores.
Asda Stores Ltd, the second largest food retailer in the UK has unveiled a £ 500 million expansion plan that will generate 5,000 new jobs.
Asda has announced plans to invest £500 million (600 million euros) in its stores in the UK and will open 25 new stores and refurbish 43,
creating three new depots during 2012, which will generate 5,000 new jobs across the country.
These plans will increase the selling space by 600,000 square feet (55,740 m2) and is a significant expansion following last year when Asda absorbed 147 Netto stores
