Live from Kiev: NESPAK presents new fruit packqging

NESPAK, the Italian specialist of fruit and vegetables packaging is exhibiting for the first time in "Fresh Produce Ukraine".

The company is introducing a new punnets with a shape in length.

As explained by Dr Daniele Pagninni, General Manager of Nespak:

"This enables to put fruit in line. The bottom of the punnet has been designed to absorb the humidity surplus. This technology has been already applied in meat produce and this is the first time it is offered for the fresh produce.

Massimo Bellotti, Export Manager :

"The another advantage is to optimkize logistics.

In fact you can place ten punnets in a box :means 40 apples per box instead of 32.

This is a big saving in logistics cost."
