German production of greenhouse tomatoes increased by +43% in recent years.
German greenhouse production has recorded impressive growth rates.
Germany has significantly increased its greenhouse production in recent years. Producer organizations believe that tomato production grew by +43% over the past three years, reaching 66,000 tons, peppers rose 100 tons to 6100 tons.
Cucumbers and herbs in pots also follow such progressions.
