GRIMME Technica has been cancelled this year
GRIMME Technica, which was planned for December 1-4, 2020, has been cancelled due to the uncertain development of the COVID-19 crisis. A customer and sales partner trade fair has taken place every two years at company’s headquarters in Damme (Germany). All shows and events of the entire GRIMME Group have been cancelled worldwide until December 31, 2020. This also includes Potato Europe in Villers/St. Christophe (France) as well as the Beet Europe in Seligenstadt (Germany).
Christoph Grimme, Managing Director of the GRIMME Landmaschinenfabrik said: "This decision was very difficult for us, as exhibition is one of our most important shows. But with the level of great uncertainty that currently prevails, we unfortunately had no other choice."
Understanding that shows and events are important marketing tools for customer relationships, the GRIMME Group will develop alternatives and new concepts to keep in touch with customers.
Manufacturing in Germany, Denmark, the USA and China factories is still going on thanks to the introduction of strict hygiene rules and new working processes. The spare parts supply is ensured. Shipping of the machines and service are also guaranteed.
