Very satisfactory results in 2013 for Market of Rungis

Increase of +3.5% in sales and +7.8% for the tonnage.

SEMMARIS, managing company of Rungis Market, presented its 2013 accounts: sales reached € 97.1 million, an increase of +3.5% compared to 2012, net income totaled 13.2 million euros.

Market of Rungis experienced a solid year in 2013, supported by a stable attendance of 6.6 million entries, more than 3,800 new buyers and logistic activities that now represent nearly 47% of overall turnover.

Arrivals in the physical market in 2013 are about 1,478,426 tons of food products, an increase of +7.8% compared to the last year. More than 1 1 00 000 tonnes of logistics activities arrivals are estimated. Finally, with 1,093,330 m2 leased, the occupancy Market rate exceeds 93%.
