Italian packaging company continues to lower its environmental impact.

During the pandemic, CARTON PACK, was fortunately able to carry out its business without interruption, as a company belonging to the agri-food industry chain, but certainly, from the operational front, it encountered difficulties and slowdowns recorded in shipments, especially international ones, due to the preventive and security measures adopted worldwide to control borders and the flow of goods.

At the beginning of 2020, CARTON PACK launched their Social Plastic® project in the field of corporate social responsibility, aiming to give a completely new and unique value to recycled plastic (RPET); and to make a more decisive move towards sustainability and corporate social commitment.

Social Plastic®, produced by Plastic Bank Corp., is plastic recovered from the oceans accordion to the ethics of sustainability and aims to improve the living conditions of people from developing countries where plastic pollution is at its peak.

At the moment the Social Plastic packaging is present in some Italian retailers, but certainly in the projects for 2021 there is the desire to confirm this project in the market.

In 2021, the company wants to commit itself more and more to sustainability and continue to lower its environmental impact as much as possible.
