Sicilian Citrus providers are represented together for the first time at Macfrut.
At Macfrut, Agrumi di Sicilia (Agrumes of Sicily) has brought together all the PDO and PGI brands under one regional brand.
For the first time, 'Distretto Produttivo Agrumi di Sicilia (Ads)' brings together: Arancia Arancia rossa di Sicilia and bionda di Ribera, Mandarino "Tardivo di Ciaculli" Interdonato Limone Limone di di Messina and
Siracusa)
The concept is to present a unique image to help identify products. The umbrella brand Agrumi di Sicilia is used to identify the region as well as the quality of PDO and PGI products.
A workshop dedicated to distribution is scheduled Thursday, October 6 at 17:00 (Room delegations A and B) with the presence of various consortia, buyers and operators of the distribution and industry.
