Total Produce, based in Ireland, has increased its stake in Capespan, the largest fruit exporter in South Africa.
Irish company Total Produce has increased its stake in Capespan, the largest fruit exporter in South Africa.
Total Produce Plc now owns 20% of Capespan Group Ltd, according to the Financial Mail
in Johannesburg.
The newspaper reports that Total Produce could compete with Bidvest Group (7.9%) and Zeder Investment Ltd for (40%) for control of Capespan.
