The liquidation of Agrexco will be delivered in a few days. No recovery has been validated by the court.
The leading Israeli exporter of fruit and vegetables will be put into liquidation.
The liquidation shall be made by the Commercial Court on September 11th. The judge blamed the difficulties of Agrexco on waste and mismanagement. No recovery has been validated.
Createded in 1957, the company, co-managed by the Israeli state and farmers, had a monopoly on the export of fruits, vegetables and flowers. It had 2 sales offices in Israel, 8 in Europe and 1 in the United States.
