Resumption makes progressed exchanges and generate a strong demand of containers.
A strong rebound in global trade has led to an unprecedented shortage of containers as shipping enters its peak season.
Europe - Asia trade increased by 23 % in a few months.
"We are experiencing a demand surge in most trades, which is a development that is both unprecedented and unexpected by us and our customers," said Jakobsen from Maersk Line.
The carriers, did not plan the current resumption, and by blocking their orders of new materials have caused a world shortage in equipments.
Maersk Line plans a bigger shortage in months to come because of a peak season surcharge which is going to begin with an increase of freight volumes.
