The exports outside EU increased

Spanish exports to non member countries of the EU increased.

FEPEX announces an increase of 2% (614 743 tons), according to figures from the Department of Customs and data from the Ministry of Economy, for September 2013, compared to the same period 2012.

The main destination of fruits and vegetables remains Russia (167,256 tons), followed by Switzerland (104 084 tons) and Norway (65 799 tons).

It seems that the export of fruits and vegetables outside the EU is concentrated in European non EU member countries, while the exports outside Europe remain weak.
