Peru exports 96,083,525 kilos of fresh asparagus until week 45

From January to week 45 (November 6), Peru exported 96,083,525 kilos of fresh asparagus (19,216,705 boxes of 5 kilos each), according to the National Superintendence of Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat).

 

Shipments of canned asparagus up to week 45 totaled 25,379,952 kilos and were destined for the markets of Spain, France, Germany, and the United States, among others.

 

This Peruvian vegetable reached more than 45 countries, highlighting the United States, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Spain, among others.
