New elected Board of PMA

The election of the Board for 2013-2014 took place in New Orleans during Fresh Summit.

Members elected for the 2013-2014 Board PMA (Produce Marketing Association): President of the Board of Directors Tim Riley (The Giumarra Companies, Los Angeles, Calif.), secretary-treasurer John Oxford (L & M, Raleigh, NC), vice-president Derrick Jenkins (Wakefern Food Corp., Elizabeth, NJ) and Alec Leach (Taylor Farms, Salinas, Calif.) and advisors Jan DeLyser (California Avocado Commission, Irvine, Calif.) and Kevin Fiori (Sunkist Growers, Sherman Oaks , Calif.). As well as 29 other administrators.

In his allocution Tim Riley insisted on the importance of strategic recentering of the association's advantages. The connections with the right people, sharing of information, tools and ideas will allow to expand the business faster than an isolated company could do.
