Egypt continues to develop agricultural cooperation with other African countries

Egypt brings its know-how to several African countries to develop their agricultural production (Photo: dailynewssegypt.com).
During the last 6 years Egypt has developed several joint farming projects with African countries. Other projects are underway and about to be implemented.
According to a communication from the Minister of Agriculture, Al-Sayyed al-Qasir, Egypt has developed joint farm projects with African countries over the past 6 years. These projects aim to carry out joint agricultural research in order to increase agricultural production in Africa.
These Egyptian model farms are already operating in Uganda, Zambia, Congo, Togo, Mali, Zanzibar and Niger. Other farms are being set up in Algeria and Eritrea and establishment procedures are underway to set up farms in Tanzania, Malawi, Zimbabwe and South Sudan.
These Egyptian-African farms produce or will produce cereals, fodder, seeds and vegetables.
