Egypt increased its sales at FRUIT LOGISTICA

Exhibitors at the Egyptian stand set new sales records at FRUIT LOGISTICA this year.

Sherif El Beltagy, in charge of the exhibition stand with 66 registered growers and traders, reported that new orders amounted to around EUR 900 million.

In comparison with last year, sales generated at FRUIT LOGISTICA rose by about EUR 200 million, he said. He attributed this to an increased demand for potatoes, which is due in part to the below-average harvests in Russia.
