XEDAPAT, the new concept of coating potatoes

XEDA International has developed a coating made from vegetable oils creating a screen which reduces the loss of weight and eliminates the effect of greening and toxin production.

This coating can be applied to potato cleaned after removal of water excess, by atomization like this is implemented conventionally for coating of fruits. It is possuble to add essential oils or natural flavorings to prevent or reduce the germination and rot.

The application machine comprises a system of 16 rollers which removes the excess of water and applies uniformly atomized product by suitable nozzles. This machine is installed before packaging, potatoes have a clean, slightly oily appearance. Drying is not necessary.
