The new consortium "Kiwifruit of Italy" is already a giant in the industry.
Major players in the kiwi secotor are in the "Kiwifruit of Italy" consortium .
The objective is to ensure greater competitiveness, set quality standards for the production and marketing and coordinate on new markets.
The consortium brings together nine of Italy's Kiwifruit companies: Spreafico,
Naturitalia, Salvi-UNACOA, Granfrutta Zani Frutta C2, OROGEL Fresco PempaCorer-TERREMERSE and Minguzzi Consorzio Kiwigold. The consortium represents 1 million quintals of Hayward kiwifruit and 20% of the total Italian production.
