Onubafruit strengthens its presence and will be able to increase its market share by offering raspberries 10 months a year.

With new varieties, Onubafruit will be able to offer raspberries 10 months a year.

Onubafruit is the largest producer of raspberries in Spain and comes to revolutionize the berries market. After several years of research and considerable investment Onubafruit just started the new campaign with four exclusive varieties of raspberries (Imara, Kweli, Lagorie, Vajolet) that will allow it to be present on the markets until the end of June.

The business calendar is for the first time spreading over 10 months, the total volume will exceed 10,000 tons of raspberries. Fruits ahead are announced to be of very good quality, very tasty, and provide a remakable life. Since the first days of September, the varieties available are 'Imara' and 'Kweli' which will be offered during the fall and spring, the 'Lagorie' and 'Vajolet' varieties will be available for the winter season.

Onubafruit, comprised of five large cooperatives in the province of Huelva, is currently the largest exporter of fruit in Europe, with more than 70,000 tons of strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries, plus citrus, persimmons and seedless fruits. Its turnover exceeds 150 MEUR.
