United States and Netherlands remain major importers of Peruvian ginger

Between January and July 2023, Peruvian ginger exports performed a strong increase, if compared to the same months of 2022, according to Agrodata.

During the initial 7 months of the ongoing year, the country exported 40.688.982 kilos of the product, worth $56.300.575.

In the same term of 2022, Peru shipped 27.026.124 kilos of ginger, for a total value of $34.848.362.

The main recipients until July 2023 were the United States (44%), the Netherlands (32%), Spain (5%), and Canada (5%), among others.
