Costco wants to establish locations in France

Costco, the fourth distributor in the U.S.A, wishes to establish itself in France and is looking for locations to acquire.
Costco wants to be in all major cities (Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Lille, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Nice). The locations will be from 2.5 to 6 hectares, easily accessible by car and close to major highways. The stores will have an area of 12,000 m² to 14,500 m².
The Costco concept is particular with a membership fee (between 50 and 100 U.S. dollars) for access to its warehouse stores which offer a limited range of products in large packages and low prices. Costco is available for individuals and professionals.
Costco was founded in 1983, its turnover is 77.9 billion dollars. The 600 stores are located in 9 countries including 429 in the United States, 82 in Canada and 22 in the UK.
