Univeg deals with Dutch products and products from around the world at its Waddinwveen site and distributes them throughout Europe.
The Waddinwveen site, due to its proximity to the port of Rottterdam, is a key European facility for Univeg.
Univeg has announced the extension of its lease until 2027 with PointPark Properties P3. The site (41,140 m², 100 docks) is used to store, package, mature and harvest fresh produce for distribution throughout Europe.
"This lease extension agreement clearly demonstrates that we are confident in the pursuit
of our business as a supplier to maintain relationships with our clients which are essential for UNIVEG" says Martin de Vries, Executive Director of UNIVEG Trade Benelux. "It also underlines the importance of the modern facilities in the fresh produce industry today. Our business depends on key instruments such as cold chains, faultless operations and flexible packaging. This year we have a processing site for subtropical crops. This agreement is also a motivator for our employees, which represent the major asset of our company."
