OTC Organics achieved Naturland certification

OTC Organics, Dutch importer, exporter and distributor of (overseas) organic fruit and vegetables, announced that their organic limes from Colombia are now Naturland certified. Organic fruits and vegetables, produced under the rules of the major international German Association Naturland, will open up better sales opportunities for the producers and for OTC Organics.

This certificate enforces the organic integrity of company's limes and how serious they take the “Social Responsibility”.

Bart van der Vliet, company's sales and marketing manager, shared with Fructidor: "Thanks to the 61 growers from Colombian grower’s cooperative in the North of the Narino department, we are able to provide our customers with organic limes with a good quality throughout the year. Limes grow in the higher regions in the south of Colombia, the ideal place to grow a dark green organic lime. Well-known baby lime are good in colour from this location." He also noted that target customers of the company are wholesalers and retailers across Europe (Netherlands, Germany, Scandinavia, France etc.)

Due to the high demand of organic limes in the market, specialist in organic fruit and vegetables currently working to expand the Colombian cooperative, in order to increase production and export volume, with a focus on quality and continuity.
