Fruits & Vegetables New Zealand recorded price increases.
In New Zealand the prices of Fruits & Vegetables rose by 8.3% in the last month.
This increase is a result of seasonal variations and weather conditions, " delicate ." The main producing areas of the country have indeed experienced heavy rains in the spring, which delayed the harvest and reduced production.
Potatoes exceeded 2 NZD (1.31 euro ) per kilo in December and January ; apples reached 4.77 NZD ( 3.14 euro ) per kilo up 13 % compared to the same period last year.
