Iran resumed its place as the No. 1 worldwide

Iran's Ministry of Agriculture announced that Iran had regained its position as No. 1 worldwide for the production of pistachios. 

Place that the country has taken from the United States and has held for a long time.

The Ministry of Agriculture announced that the production of pistachios has exceeded 235 thousand tons last year. This production, surpassing US output, is the result of favorable weather conditions and the implementation of measures to improve performance.

Iran has exported 180,262 tons of pistachios last year for a value of USD 1.62 billion. These exports represent a 50% increase in volume and value.
