Very positive report for Saint Charles Export

The recent General Assembly of  Saint-Charles Export  in Perpignan (France) was an opportunity to come back on four years of intense exploration throughout Europe.

 
The association brings together companies in the fruit and vegetables of the Rhone Mediterranean Basin, and is based on the Multimodal Platform Pyrenees-Mediterranean. 

 
In 4 years of existence, it has allowed to open up new markets (mainly in the Czech Republic, the Baltics, Russia, Poland, Hungary, Algeria, Austria) and to develop flows in more traditional markets  (such as Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy). The presence in international trade shows were the first vectors in the success of this dynamic. The reception of delegations of foreign buyers for business to business contacts at the heart of business has been very positive in terms of order intake.

 
From 2006 to 2009, exports made by the member companies of St. Charles Export increased by 31.59% in volume (4 638 tons shipped), representing an increase of turnover of 33.96% which represents + 93 million Euros.

 
The group has 200 firms (producer organizations, cooperatives, Importers, Exporters, Shippers, carriers, logistics).
