Major European Association to develop the apple REGAL’IN™

LUE WHALE, APOFRUIT and AGRO FRUIT SELECTION, together to develop the REGAL'IN ™ apple which will be marketed in 2018.
The French and Italian producers are associated with a breeder for the development of the apple REGAL'IN ™. The plantations will be set up for marketing beginning of 2018.
The producer group BLUE WHALE (France), with its strong brand in over 70 countries, wants to develop new products in high-end segments of-marketed, exclusively on French territory. CONCEPT REGAL'IN ™ and BLUE WHALE have signed an exclusive development agreement in 2015 for the French territory.
The APOFRUIT producer group (Italy), cooperative group wants to develop REGAL'IN ™ in Italy, apples being perfectly suited to consumer demands. They signed an agreement exclusively with CONCEPT REGAL'IN ™.
The company AGRO FRUIT SELECTION (the breeder) has integrated several years the "apple" part of CONCEPT REGAL'INTM, a satisfaction guarantee for consumers. Agro Selection Fruits offers a range of multis species (peach, nectarine, apricot, cherry and apple) with crisp fruit, fondant with a flavor that combines the perfect balance of sugar, acidity and aroma.
REGAL'IN ™ is naturally resistant to apple scab. The apples are picked in September for anmarketing from September to June for regular round shape, it has a strong visual appeal with a very sensitive skin with blemishes. Potential high taste, thin and crunchy texture. Semi-sweet flavor (BRIX greater than 15, slightly acidic, aromatic), it maintains its flavor characteristics and firmness in conservation for more than 10 months.
