Technical partnership for water and irrigation between Morocco and Ethiopia

 

 

 

The recent visit of Ethiopian officials to Morocco was aimed at implementing the technical partnership established between the two countries. Morocco will share its experience and support Ethiopia's efforts to carry out the development and management of its water, irrigation and electricity sectors. This active co-operation may join the increase in agricultural production in Ethiopia.

 

 

 

One of the first steps will be the construction of a training center. On the program, water and agricultural irrigation management, practical training, expertise for farming.

 

 

 

Recall that Morocco has implemented numerous initiatives and has adopted innovative programs such as the PNEEI (National Water Saving Plan for Irrigation), which has modernized its irrigation systems on thousands of hectares.
