In the province of Huelva, where 90% of Spanish strawberries are cultivated, producers started the new season with strawberry Splendor.
Splendor is one of the new varieties of recent seasons strawberries and already represents 20% of the total area planted. Excellent quality, strawberry Splendor has the ideal characteristics in size, color and flavor.
Splendor is an early variety, well adapted to the Mediterranean climate, which makes it ideal for production areas of southern Spain (or Italy, Greece, northern Morocco). Splendor offers a beautiful color despite the short hours of sunshine in December.
