AI, startups, and global tech leaders converge in Athens

The fifth edition of BEYOND, the international exhibition for digital technology and innovation, took place for the first time in Athens, Greece, from April 4 to 6, drawing more than 15,000 visitors. Held at the Metropolitan Expo under the theme "AI Reality Bites", the event brought together over 300 exhibitors from Greece and abroad, including startups, tech companies, research centers, and universities.

The event served as a dynamic hub for AI and digital tech, with high-level forums, live demonstrations, and strategic networking. A key highlight was the AI Forum, where 120+ speakers explored the future of artificial intelligence in sectors like energy, education, healthcare, and climate action, while also addressing ethical and regulatory challenges.

Business networking was central to BEYOND 2025, with over 500 B2B meetings involving participants from 10+ countries. The Startup Village and Investor Lounge provided emerging companies with valuable exposure, investor access, and opportunities to pitch for funding. The BEYOND Marketplace further allowed companies to showcase cutting-edge solutions in real time.

BEYOND was co-organized by TIF-HELEXPO, Be-Best, and IDGC, alongside key ministries and regional authorities. With strong international participation and a growing reputation, the event confirmed its role as a leading platform for digital transformation in Southeastern Europe and beyond.
