Sheila Stafford, CEO and Co-Founder of TeamSense, an app-free platform that bridges the communication gap between hourly employees and their companies, has recently joined the board of directors at Kwik Lok Corporation, based in Yakima, Washington (the United States). As an expert in product design, manufacturing innovation, and development, Sheila has extensive experience in all aspects of profit and loss management and has spearheaded two successful enterprises that significantly alleviate customer and warehouse manager challenges.
With over two decades of experience in both manufacturing and technology sectors, Sheila is poised to provide valuable strategic insight to Kwik Lok, assisting the company in its ongoing innovation within the packaging industry.
Prior to her appointment at Kwik Lok, Sheila’s illustrious career included roles at major U.S. corporations such as General Motors and Whirlpool Corporation, where she led product development for the multibillion-dollar North American Refrigeration segment. She also played a pivotal role in one of Fluke Corporation’s most successful product introductions. Furthermore, Sheila founded TeamSense, addressing critical challenges such as absenteeism and enhancing digital connectivity within workplaces.
Kimberly Paxton-Hagner, the board chair at Kwik Lok, praised Sheila’s alignment with the company’s core values, noting her dedication to fostering a positive work environment and optimizing business operations.
Sheila earned an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Duke University. Her journey to executive leadership was fueled by her determination, entrepreneurial acumen, and the foundational work ethic instilled by her father, a factory worker and master electrician from Buffalo, New York. Outside of her professional endeavors, Sheila is an enthusiastic supporter of the Duke Blue Devils and women's sports, drawing on her competitive spirit from her days as a college athlete.
