Küehne + Nagel devolops its business in Brazil

Logistics group Kuehne + Nagel will take over the Brazilian company Grupo Eichenberg to accelerate its expansion in Brazil.

Grupo Eichenberg is a family business based in Porto Alegre. It has about 700 employees and manages 14 sites providing integrated logistics solutions. Well established in Brazil and in neighbouring countries (Argentina, Chile, Uruguay) the company operates in logistics and air freight traffic.

The acquisition will allow "door to door" delivery and accelerate the development of Kuehne + Nagel’s activities in Brazil. The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
