Dried apricots harvest forecasts for 2013/2014

The major part of the production of dried apricots is done in the region of Malatya. About 85 percent of the crop is exported. The main importers are Russia, the United States, England, or Germany.

 

The Food and Breeding forecasts for 2013/2014, made ??by the Regional Agricultural Direction, are 89,400 tons for the region of Malatya and 20 945 tonnes for the neighboring provinces of Baskil, Elbistan and Gürün.
