Uzbek peach exports increase 2.2-fold year-on-year.
Peach exports from Uzbekistan soared in the first half of 2025, reaching 32,937 tonnes and generating $31.4 million in revenue, according to the National Statistics Committee. Compared to the same period last year, the volume rose by 17,600 tonnes — a 2.2-fold increase that highlights growing international demand.
Leading the list of importers, Russia took in the majority with 24,752 tonnes. Kazakhstan followed with 6,387 tonnes, while Kyrgyzstan purchased 1,531 tonnes during the same six-month period.
Belarus received 210 tonnes, and smaller shipments totalling 57 tonnes reached other destinations.
Favourable climate conditions, improved logistics, and increased production capacity have all contributed to the surge. With continued efforts in market development and supply chain efficiency, Uzbek peaches may see further global reach in the coming seasons.
