Exports of lychees grew

Good year for the production of litchis in Madagascar.

The Harvests of lychees went well with no major problems, with good quality of fruits. Exporters were able to fill the boats in time for the European markets. This year exports are expected to reach 17,500 tons, 3% more than the previous season.

But according to the producers, the international demand has not experienced significant growth, and excessive export development would make the prices fall.
