The 3rd edition of Global Cherry Summit scheduled for April 2020

The event, which will be in its third edition in 2020, has quickly become the world's most important meeting point for professionals in the cherry industry.

 

 

 

Global Cherry Summit will be held on April 23, 2020 at the Sun Monticello Conference Center in San Francisco de Mostazal, Chile.

 

 

 

The 2019 edition attracted nearly 800 participants from major exporting and importing countries, including Chile, China, United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Brazil, Argentina, New Zealand, Spain and Turkey.

 

 

 

"It's an ideal meeting when everyone wants to know how the Chilean season ended," said Cristian Tagle (Cerezas Committee, ASOEX). "The expeditions end at the end of February and in March, so April is the perfect time to end the campaign and share information on its progress".

 

 

 

The demand for cherries is growing and Chile is a leading country. In 2018 exports reached $3 billion, double the figure of 5 years ago, while Chile's export volumes have tripled since 2012.
