The program "Un fruit pour la récré" ; "a fruit for the break" renovated and simplified

Following the demand from Ministery of agriculture, the program "a fruit for the break" has been redesigned and simplified. The Ministery wanted to make the programme more attractive for territorial collectivities and for suppliers.

The conditions to finance fruit & veg have been simplified thanks to the creation of a rate aid. This aid is financed by EU funds (15 Millions euros) to develop distribution of fresh fruit and veg or puree and juice.

"Un fruit pour la récré" is a program to educate children and to help them to discover thepleasure to eat fruit & veg.

It enables the youngest to have a better connaissance of the products, their saisonnality together with the diferent jobs from production to distribution.
