Spanish avocado harvest forecast up by 8.03%

According to the latest updated forecasts from MAPA (Ministerio de Agricultura, Pesca y Alimentación), the Spanish avocado harvest for the 2019/20 season will increase by + 8.03%.

 

 

 

The Spanish avocado crop will reach 96,800 tonnes for the 2019/20 season, an increase of 8.03% compared to the previous season, according to MAPA forecasts.

 

 

 

Another indication from the MAPA Monthly Statistical Bulletin, the average price of avocado last February increased, reaching 2.35 euros / kg. This represents an increase of 6.17% compared to January of this year and 66.05% compared to the same month of 2019.
