The phytosanitary authority of South Africa (Agricultural, land reform & rural development) approved the sanitary requirements for the importation of Peruvian mangoes to its country, as reported by the National Agricultural Health Service of Peru (Senasa).
Worth mentioning that in the last 10 years, Senasa has gained access for mangoes to Japan, South Korea, Uruguay and South Africa.
Today, the Peruvian mango has access to 64 international markets, whose demand is satisfied with the production of more than 17.000 hectares in the departments of Piura, Áncash and Lambayeque.
