Serbia exports raspberries to EU

Serbian raspberry, renowned as the best of the world, won a huge contract.

The union of Serbian raspberry growers and Austria's Best Food CWS company signed an agreement on the purchase of 50,000 tons of frozen raspberries at a price of 1.60 Euro per kilogram. The agreed prices and quantities for this year will be defined thereafter every two years.

The management of Best Food CWS  indicates that the Serbian raspberries will be on the European & Ukrainian market this year.

The company plans to expand its cooperation with Serbia and other imported fruit and vegetables such as apples, plums and potatoes.
