Fruit Logistica still unrivalled platform

Italy leads the country delegations, China turkey and technology the most growing exhibitors.
Berlin has welcome today over 2,600 exhibitors from more than 90 countries, the event is set to reaffirm its reputation as the year’s most influential meeting point for the global fruit and vegetable sector.
Held across 26 exhibition halls, this year’s event has attracted large numbers of exhibitors from Italy, The Netherlands, Spain, Germany, and France. Italy, in fact, with more than 400 exhibitors, has effectively formed a dedicated trade show of its own within the walls of Messe Berlin.
Key markets expansion like China, Turkey, Egypt
This year’s FRUIT LOGISTICA reflects impressive recent growth in several markets, with record-breaking participation by China, Turkey and Egypt, and notable increases too for Spain and Peru. China’s presence has grown by one-third, Turkey’s is 12 per cent bigger, and Israel, which has a strong presence in Machinery & Technology, has expanded by a remarkable 20 per cent.
Delegrations from Latin America and China Guangzhou market
FRUIT LOGISTICA 2025 will host a diverse range of international delegations. Like from Central and South American countries who hold their Latin America Conference on the day before the event. A delegation from the Guangzhou Jiangnan wholesale market is attending several productive meetings arranged by the event organizers.
New show director Alexander Stein
Since February first Alexander Stein (51) became the project manager of Fruit Logistica. He takes over from Kai Mangelberger (45), who has been in charge since 2021. Alexander Stein has more than 20 years of experience in organising international trade fairs and events. Most recently, he was in charge of event management at the ZBI Group (part of Union Investment). Prior to that, he held a senior management post at NürnbergMesse. He gained extensive expertise in the strategic, conceptual and sales development of B2B events. He also has wide-ranging experience in digital and hybrid events. “I want to use my experiene to further strengthen Fruit Logistica as an important source of inspiration and driver of innovation for the fruit and vegetable industry,“
