FJ
New momentum of the Intermed association that becomes Intermed Gateways.
Intermed, the association that unites the three major ports of southern Europe (Barcelona, ??Genoa, Marseille) was created in 1997 and then fell slightly into oblivion. Today the three partners provide a new impetus with a new name: Intermed Gateways.
Intermed's Gateways goal is to "Meet all the main challenges posed by the profound changes in international maritime transport" . The association has set up a work program for the next two years.
Ongoing cooperation and exchange of information, but also setting up of a study on the comparative advantages vis-à-vis with competitors in northern Europe. Thus protect and promote the interests of the three ports towards the European institutions, and act together in strategic markets such as Asia. Finally, develop common promotion and marketing.
